Black Bear Books is an independent pop up bookstore in North East Louisiana. BBB started in March of 2023, with their first pop up in April of 2023. Owners and husband and wife team Nikita and Tyler Shockey are North LA natives. Both are lovers of books and the 318 community. BBB has been a long time dream of the Shockeys and it has been such a joy for them to see it so well received by the community. BBB's goal is to bring books to the people. BBB believes that everyone is a reader once they have found the right book!
