Kyle Snellenberger's love for woodworking blossomed in his childhood, working alongside his father in their family woodshop. As demand for his custom furniture soared, Ouachita Antique Woods was born in 2016, finding its home at 336 Fontana Road. Every piece at OAWoods is meticulously handcrafted in our shop, predominantly using architectural salvage and reclaimed wood sourced locally and nationally. We prioritize local sourcing to infuse our creations with hometown character, ensuring they become cherished heirlooms passed down through generations. Our work has sourced woods from local landmarks such as the ULM Grove, Bayou Desiard, Forsythe Park, and the Louisiana Purchase Zoo. Our passion for woodworking is evident in every crafted item, each showcasing the rich history and character of reclaimed wood.
