Collection: Suzanna Reneau

Suzanna comes from a background of art and design and possesses a passion and
instinct that shines through in her work. She spent the first years of her life in
Ruston, LA where she had space and encouragement to cultivate a unique
imagination. Even as a child she enjoyed creating. She attended Louisiana Tech
University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design. Some
of her inspiration comes from fashion, style, and travel. Geometric form, texture,
color, and attention to detail are among her strengths.
As an artist she has done work with oil and mixed media on canvas, but something
that makes her unique is her work on bison skulls, which began with her epic 10
year journey in the Rocky Mountains of Montana. The awe-inspiring beauty there
helped her get more in touch with the artist within. Early in her career, she spent
years in Dallas where she developed her appreciation for different styles of art. She
feels as though her nature and skills that cultivated from living in different places
have honed one another over the years, and that the two go hand in hand.
She has had art shows in Red Lodge and Bozeman, Montana, and worked with an
art dealer in Big Sky as well as custom clients throughout the west. Her art has been
sold from “Urbaine Home” Studio and “The Architect’s Wife” showrooms in
Bozeman, the Western Art Forum in Big Sky, and a home design gallery in Crested
Butte, Colorado. She has been featured in two publications as well, including
Mountain Living Magazine and Elysian Magazine of North Carolina. Keep an eye
out for the artist’s signature, a hidden brass miniature pistol.
